अटल बिहारी इण्टर कॉलेज,उन्नाव शासकीय सहायता प्राप्त नगर की प्रतिष्ठित प्राचीनतम संस्था है | इसकी स्थापना सन 1928 मे स्वर्गीय लाला अटल बिहारी मेहरोत्रा जी के द्वारा हुई थी | रायबहादुर लाला अटल बिहारी मेहरोत्रा शिक्षण संस्थानों को मुक्त हस्तदान हेतु विख्यात थे | वे लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय, इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय तथा कशी विश्वविद्यालय के आजीवन सदस्य रहे| विद्यालय को विभिन्न वर्गों की मान्यताये अधोलिखित है- हाई स्कूल की मान्यता वर्ष 1932 -33 में सभी अनिवार्य विषय के लिए मिली। इंटरमीडिएट की मान्यता वर्ष 1951 में मानविकीय वर्ग व वाणिज्य वर्ग और वर्ष 2001 में वैज्ञानिक वर्ग के लिए मान्यता प्राप्त हुई। विद्यालय का भव्य व नव्य स्वरुप पूर्व प्रबंधक श्री प्रमोद बिहारी मेहरोत्रा के अथक प्रयासों का प्रतिफल है, इस संस्था मे लगभग 1000 छात्र अध्यनरत है , तथा सुयोग्य 26 शिक्षकों द्वारा अध्यापन कार्य प्रभावशाली ढंग से किया जा रहा है।
Atal Bihari Inter College is a co-educational school located in Bade Chauraha, Unnao and established in 1928 By Lt. Lala Atal Bihari Mehrotran, recognized by the UP Board.
